BANDAR BARU NILAI: A Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) student died after she was run over by a bus in an accident at Jalan USIM near the chancellor hall, here today. In the 5.45pm incident, Wamasaria Layai, 22 who was riding pillion on a motorcycle died at the scene from severe head injuries while the rider Nurul Fariza Natasha Sapuan, 22, suffered light injuries. Negri Sembilan Traffic Management and Investigation department chief Supt Ibrahim Mohd Abdul Kadir said the accident was believed to have happened after the motorcycle grazed a bus causing the two to fall. "The pillion rider was pinned under the bus and the bus ran over her. Ibrahim said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
