The S&P 500 set a fresh record Thursday and capped the longest stretch of gains since March. The Bloomberg US Economic Surprise Index turned positive this week for the first time since the end of May. Amid signs of a strengthening economy and stocks rising to all-time highs, traders have been pricing in higher probabilities for a Fed rate increase this year.
