Share TweetBy Alexandria San JuanThe level of Filipinos’ trust in the United States remained high as at least 81 percent said they had “much trust” in the country’s long-time ally, leading to a net trust rating of “excellent”. To underscore that it has remained as the Filipinos’ most trusted country, only eight percent said they had “little trust” and 11 percent said they were undecided. Meanwhile, the Filipinos’ level of trust in China fell to “poor” as most did not believe that it has good intentions for the country, the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed. This gave a net agreement score of -16 (percent agree minus percent disagree), classified by SWS as “moderately weak,” similar to the net -17 in December 2018.
