Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the US policies for the region were promoting terrorism and Pakistan and Afghanistan would have to join hands to wipe out the menace. Sirajul Haq said that the US defence secretary was coming with a harsh message. He said the US policies were serving India’s interest and outside powers were involved in terrorist in this country. The JI chief said the US efforts to increase India’s influence in Afghanistan and establish India’s supremacy in the region had ruined the peace in South East Asia. Earlier, while addressing a workshop for the Ulema and the Khatibs at Mansoora, Sirajul Haq said that the pulpit should be used to promote love and brotherhood.
