MANILA, Philippines — United States Ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim denied claims by President Rodrigo Duterte that the Central Intelligence Agency wants him out. In a media forum with foreign correspondents on Thursday, Kim said: "There is absolutely no effort by the CIA to undermine the Philippines' leadership." Duterte previously made a claim before audiences in the launch of an anti-human trafficking campaign that the CIA wants to oust him. Duterte and Trump are slated to have a bilateral meeting at the sidelines of the summit before the US President leaves Manila.
