SUNBURY – Some Sunbury businesses and citizens are getting involved to help four families displaced following a two-alarm duplex fire Sunday afternoon on Miller Street. A local business, Sweet Chaos, located on Market Street, is holding a clothing collection for two of the families during their normal business hours. Good Will Hose Company is also hosting a clothing and toys collection for the other two families, and one of the families has a pet dog. Northumberland County Communications told WKOK Sunday, numerous volunteer fire crews were called to 1121 Miller Street around 11:30am Sunday. Sunbury Fire Chief Ron Rupp said a fire marshal is helping to investigate the fire, which is not considered suspicious.
