The deceased is Hamidul Sharif, 45, a member of Ward 7 under Gopinathpur Union Parishad in the upazila. Hamidul was shot four times in his chest, he said. On Friday, a Union Parishad member, who was also an Awami League leader, was shot and hacked to death in Pabna town.
