KUALA LUMPUR: The Union Network International-Malaysia Labour Centre (UNI-MLC) has identified 20 hotels in Klang Valley that practiced 'no hijab policy' on women employees. Its president Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal said the recognition was made possible based on checks and complaints received by the group. He said the 20 hotels were located around Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya and comprised mostly international chains, with either five or six-stars. Shafie said the ministry should take action against hotels which are found guilty of imposing the ban on headscarves.
