UN Special adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, met on Wednesday with senior British officials in London, where she briefed them on the outcomes of the Libyan consultations held in Cairo between the House of Representatives (HoR) and the High Council of State (HCS) this month. “Today in London I met with H.E. Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, the Minister for South Asia, North Africa, the UN and the Commonwealth at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, in addition to other senior UK officials, to brief them on the current situation in Libya including the outcomes of the recent consultations held in Cairo between 13-18 April of the HoR/HCS Joint Committee,” Williams tweeted.
