Two yellow weather warnings for rain are in place for parts of Scotland, from midnight on Tuesday until 3pm on Wednesday. The Met Office says heavy and prolonged rain is expected, with risks of flooding and travel disruption. "However, looking ahead to Tuesday that rain will linger across north western areas; very heavy rain to come, warnings in force. Tonight:Cloudy, breezy and mild with some rain moving eastwards but persistent rain developing over hills and mountains from north Wales northwards. Tuesday:Rain persisting over hills and mountains from north Wales northwards, particularly over northwest Scotland where some large totals building up.
