Met Office forecaster Becky Mitchell said: 'Over the weekend, we are due to experience the warmest days of the year so far. The highest temperature recorded for an Easter weekend was 27.8C (82F), in two different years. April 19 last year got up to 84.3F (29.1C) in London, which was the hottest April day since 1949.
