LONDON — The suspected final member of a gang that stole millions in jewelry from a London safe-deposit storehouse has been charged, almost three years after the audacious heist. He was arrested Tuesday at his home, 2 miles (3.2 kilometres) from the site of the April 2015 raid in the Hatton Garden jewelry district. The gang of mostly elderly men drilled through a concrete vault wall and ransacked more than 70 safe-deposit boxes. Prosecutors say they stole cash, jewelry and gold worth more than 14 million pounds ($20 million). The 57-year-old Seed is alleged to be a burglar known as “Basil,” the last of the gang who was still on the loose.
