Dr Singhal holds a B.E. At present, he is also working as Director, Energy Cell, in the Energy Department of the Government of Uttarakhand. Dr. Singhal has earlier received several other prestigious national-level awards, including the Water Digest World Water Award, CBIP Award, ET Inspiring Leaders Award, and the Aqua Foundation Dam Safety Award.
