U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was being treated for a possible infection and was expected to stay in the hospital for a few days following a medical procedure, the court said in a statement Tuesday. The court said that the 87-year-old Ginsburg went to a hospital in Washington on Monday evening after experiencing fever and chills. Ginsburg spent a night in the hospital in May with an infection caused by a gallstone. Ginsburg, who was appointed by former president Bill Clinton and joined the court in 1993, has been treated four times for cancer. Speaking at a news conference in the Rose Garden on Tuesday evening, U.S. President Donald Trump was asked about Ginsburg.
