Major U.S. stock indexes climbed Monday, with shares of energy companies among the biggest winners after oil prices broke above $70 a barrel for the first time since 2014. The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 177 points, or 0.7%, to 24440, shortly after the opening bell. The S&P 500 rose 0.6% and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.8%. The S&P 500’s energy group advanced 2.1%.
