Ghana drew its first game with Rigobert Song’s Cameroon on match day one while the Egyptians had a lone goal win over Mali. A point for the Meteors in the upcoming match against Egypt will see Ghana in the tournament till the last round of group games. “We know how dangerous the Egyptians can be but I am highly confident in my boys’ ability to deliver in such difficult matches”, Tanko said in a pre-match press conference ahead of Monday's game. We respect Egypt and we know it is a tough game but we will give our best."
