Typhoon Noru affects flights and train services in south Japan


Typhoon Noru has caused dozens of flights and train services to be cancelled on Japan's south-western island of Shikoku and the southern Kinki region, local authorities confirmed Monday. The China Airlines cancelled flights CI156, CI157, CI159, CI172 and CI173 between Taiwanese cities and Osaka for Monday. EVA Airways cancelled flight BR132 and BR178 from Taipei to Osaka and flight BR182 from Kaohsiung to Osaka. The airline also canceled Taiwan-bound flights BR131 and BR177 from Osaka to Taipei and BR181 departing from Osaka for Kaohsiung. Tiger Air cancelled Taipei - Osaka flights IT210 and IT211 as well as Kaohsiung - Osaka flights IT284 and IT285.
