Deceased Ukyahla Marma, 32, and Aprumong Marma, 25, were members of Parbatya Chattagram Janasanghati Samity, the local union council chairman says. Roangchharhi Police Station OC Omar Ali said they were killed at Ongaparha in Alikhyang union council on Tuesday night. Alikhyang UP Chairman Biswnath Tanchanga said local Awami League activist Thoaichingmong Marma was responsible for the murder of the two PCJS members.He could not say why Thoaichingmong killed Ukyahla and Aprumong.Ukyahla's wife Menuching Marma filed a case against Thoaichingmong.OC Omar said the bodies were sent to Bandarban Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.Police were trying to catch the accused, he said.An army posse was also patrolling the area, he addedThe police official also said he heard that the victims were members of PCJSS but could not confirm it.
