Two-year-old discovered with rare disease

A medical board has been formed for the treatment of Shakiba, a two-year-old girl from Bibhishon village of Radhanagar union in Gomostapur upazila of Chapainawabganj district, who is suffering from a rare disease since her birth. Shakiba, daughter of farmer Abdus Sattar, has a rare condition that causes her right arm to swell. As she is getting older, her right arm is becoming heavier and swelling more day by day. As Shakiba’s parents are unable to afford their daughter’s treatment, the government has come forward to help. Her father has urged everyone to pray for a quick recovery while doctors are trying their best to combat this rare disease.
