— RCMP say a two-year-old boy has died after falling into an underground sewage tank in a rural area southwest of Calgary. Police say they were called to a home near Priddis Thursday along with fire crews and emergency responders. They say the boy was removed from the tank and flown by air ambulance to Calgary Children’s Hospital, but did not survive. Fatima Khawaja, a spokesperson for STARS air ambulance, says the boy was in critical, life-threatening condition when ambulance personnel dropped him off at the hospital. Police suspect the boy had lifted the tank’s lid and accidentally fell inside.
