Two women have pleaded guilty to stoning Kenya Power employees who had gone to their house to disconnect illegal power connection. The court heard that on July 2 at Soweto Kibera, Eunice Atieno and Lilian Akinyi created disturbance by throwing stones at the Kenya Power officials. The accused told court that they mistook the officials for thieves. But the magistrate said that in their mitigation, they had denied the charge. They were released on Sh20,000 cash bail.
