Two teenagers were shot – one fatally – in the 300 block of P Street SW on Saturday night, officials said. D.C. police identified the homicide victim as Khyre Amar Ledbetter, 18, of Northeast. About 9:20 p.m. Saturday, officers were called about the sound of gunshots in the area, which is several blocks west of Nationals Park, near the Washington Channel. Police found the victims, who were taken to local hospitals. The Metropolitan Police Department offers rewards of up to $25,000 for help in the arrests and convictions of those responsible for homicides in the District.
