Police said the accident happened at 3.20am on the That Phanom-Mukdahan road in Ban Tong village in Tambon Fungdaeng in That Phanom district. The two dead were identified as Noppasorn Kulsing, 17 and Thaweeporn Majanit, 16. He said construction materials were piled on both sides of a section of the road under construction. Friends of the two teenagers told police that the two were returning home from a birthday party. Local residents said the section of the road experiences frequent accidents, and has become locally know as 100-Body Way.
