Two alleged motorcycle-riding robbers who had just robbed a man were killed in a shootout in Pasig City Tuesday night, police said. Police said the shootout happened after the suspects were flagged down in a police checkpoint along Jenny’s Avenue Ext. at Barangay Maybunga, Pasig City at around 11:45 p.m. Two other suspects escaped aboard another motorcycle, police added. According to a police report, the four suspects onboard two motorcycles have earlier robbed Roel De Jesus while he was walking along Mabini St. in Barangay Kapasigan, Pasig City. Police officers rushed the injured suspects to the Pasig City General Hospital but died along the way.
