On Wednesday morning, 24-year-old Tasnim Jahan Irene was killed in a road accident in the capital’s Pragati Sarani area. Badda police say Irene’s death was caused by two speeding buses racing on the streets of Dhaka. Irene’s body was recovered and sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy following the accident. Saiful Islam, a resident of Badda, said passersby pushed the bus and recovered Irene's crushed body. After the post mortem, Irene’s body was handed over to her family members in the afternoon.
