Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three criminals, including two robbers, after an alleged encounter in different parts of the city in the wee hours of Saturday. According to police sources, two robbers were looting citizens on Javed Hill View Road in front of Beacon House School when a police team reached the scene after receiving the alerts. During the shootout, one of the robbers sustained bullet injuries. The injured robbers were identified as Asghar Ali and Jamshed. Separately, the Baldia town police arrested a drug peddler, Waseem, and recovered 450 grams of drugs from them.
