At least two policemen were arrested after they were found involved in selling weapons which were recovered during police raids. The police learnt about the illegal activity following a sting operation conducted by the host of a private television (TV) channel programme. Their illicit activity was confirmed after they sold arms, recovered during different raids, to a man who pretended to be a buyer. The programme host subsequently complained to the Civil Lines Police on Sunday. As proof, he showed a recording of the sting operation to the ASI in which both suspects could be seen finalising a deal with the actor.
