By taking care of the environment through sustainable practices, it will help boost the livelihood of the rural community. This was stated by senior officials of the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) on Sunday at Mushkpuri Top to mark World Tourism Day. ACP President Abu Zafar Sadiq and Secretary Karrar Haidri briefed hikers visiting the top about the significance of mountain tourism and the importance of taking care of the environment, which ultimately helps sustain rural communities for their livelihood. They highlighted the importance of tourism in the modern era as a tool for economic growth, rural development and economic empowerment. The ACP president assured that they will continue to promote eco-tourism in the country to attract the youth towards healthy activities.
