Two people killed in highway crash north of Fort McMurray


Two men are dead and one has serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a four-vehicle collision north of Fort McMurray on Monday afternoon, say the Wood Buffalo RCMP. The collision occurred on Highway 63, near the Fort McKay cutoff, around 3 p.m. said Const. At least one other person was involved in the collision but not injured. Three cars and one truck were all being towed from the highway. Highway 63 southbound was closed for several hours following the crash but re-opened in the evening.
