Two men are facing first-degree murder charges in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man in a Brampton strip mall last year. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died. Ronald Junior Thomas, 36, was original arrested on Oct. 20 and charged with 12 gun and drug-related offences, including unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance. Thomas was later charged on Oct. 26 with first-degree murder. Treston Brown, 24, was also charged on Oct. 26 with first-degree murder.
