Six people have been injured in a crash near Topuni in Northland. A serious crash in Northland has claimed the lives of two people. On Sunday morning police confirmed two people had been killed in the crash at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Oruawharo Rd, near Topuni. Police said another person was flown to Auckland Hospital in a serious condition and a child was taken to Starship Hospital, also in a serious condition. Following the crash State Highway 1 was closed and diversions were put in place in Kaiwaka and Te Hana.
