IPOH: Two persons were killed in an accident involving two trailers at KM237 of the North-South Expressway near Kuala Kangsar on Saturday. A spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department said the incident happened at 4.37am on the north-bound lane of the highway. He said the accident involved a trailer loaded with iron rods while the other trailer was transporting plywood. A teenager was among the victims who were killed on the spot. "We used rescue tools to get the victims out as they were trapped in the vehicle," said the spokesperson.
