Two people have died on the spot while another one escaped unhurt after a private car they were travelling in was prayed with bullets along Nairobi- Machakos Road at Kathome area in Machakos County. Machakos County commissioner John Ondego said the Honda Vitz had three occupants when the incident occurred on Friday. He said one of the victims was a police officer based in Mwala subcounty. He said the trio were seemingly in their killers radar who blocked their car on reaching the scene of crime. "One of them is our officer based in Mwala and it seems they were being followed from behind because the gun men were following them from behind.
