Two people died while five were injured following an accident at theSalgaa blackspot on Wednesday morning. "The two died instantly while the injured were rushed to the Nakuru Level 5 Hospital for treatment," Wamburi said. The 5am accident involved a Blueline sacco matatu heading to Kisumu and a van which was on its way to Nakuru. Salgaa OCPD Joseph Wamburi told the Star that the matatu was trying to overtake the van near Nakuru Teachers Training College resulting into a head-on collision. Many accidents have been reported in the area in the recent past despite drivers being cautioned to be careful when on that section of the road.
