Officers were called after the grey Mini Cooper crashed at 3.40am on Saturday in Lydd, Kent Police said. Three people were freed from the car by emergency services near Dengemarsh Road and taken to hospital. But a man and a woman, both in their 20s and from the Maidstone area, died from their injuries. Another man has been discharged from hospital after sustaining minor injuries, police said.
