PUTRAJAYA: Two businessmen have been remanded to aid the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission's (MACC) probe into Great Alonioners Trading Corporation Bhd (Gatco). The two men – both "datuks" – will be held for three days from Tuesday after the court allowed MACC's remand application. To date, the MACC has arrested three individuals over the case. The conflict over the ownership of the land dated back to 1977 when Gatco was incorporated. As part of the scheme, members paid RM7,600 each for their allocated plot of land, but the scheme failed and Gatco went bankrupt.
