KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes AMG Petronas’ Lewis Hamilton admitted that he is sad to see the Petronas Malaysia Formula One Grand Prix come to an end this year. "Obviously I have been here many times but this is my fifth season with Petronas now," said Hamilton, at a press conference organised by Petronas in Kuala Lumpur today. "They are taking away one of the toughest, if not the toughest race of the season away and it will be hard to replace. Hamilton, however will want to forget the Sepang race last year which saw him having to retire after his engine caught fire while leading the race. After a relatively slow start to this season, Hamilton now leads the standings with a 28 point advantage over second placed Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari.
