Three months old Lim Jun Chen was diagnosed with a heart defect, ventricular septal defect (VSD) or commonly known as hole in the heart, of which his surgery would cost RM30,000. He added that after this surgery, his son would have to undergo another surgery when he is 10-years-old. Hidayah said that Nurin heart was swelling due to her heart defect. She said her daughter’s heart condition had stunted Nurin’s growth as she is smaller in size compared to children of similar age.
