Two charged with killing rhino denied bond

Two people linked to the killing of a rhino at Tsavo National Park have been charged at a Kahawa Law court. The two; Abdi Noor Hussein and Dominic Mwashao were charged before Principal Magistrate Gideon Kiage. The court heard that they allegedly killed a black rhino at Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary Tsave West National Park within Taita Taveta County without a permit. They were also charged with the second count of dealing in wildlife trophies contrary to the Wildlife Conservation Act. They were however not released on bond after the prosecution told the court that they were a flight risk.
