Six firefighting crews from across Auckland were at the Mt Roskill scene at the height of the fire (file photo). Two shops in the central Auckland suburb of Mt Roskill have been damaged in an early morning fire. Firefighters from across Auckland were called to the shops on the corner of Richardson and Stoddard roads about 1.30am Saturday. Craig Dally, a spokesman for Fire and Emergency New Zealand, said crews arrived to find the shops "well alight". Dally said there were no injuries reported and a fire investigator was not treating the fire as suspicious.
