Representational photo BigstockVictim's father filed a case against fourTwo persons were arrested on Sunday, over a case filed for attempting to burn a schoolgirl to death in Rajbari Sadar upazila. Law enforcement officials arrested the main accused, Shilpi Begum, 45, and her nephew Shetu, 24, from Khan-khanapur area of Sadar upazila. They prepared a torch to set the girl on fire after tying up her mouth, hands, and legs. The family members of the girl heard muffled screams from the field, and rescued her. Later, on Saturday the girl's father lodged a case against Shilpi Begum, and three other unidentified persons with Rajbari Sadar police station.
