The two New World supermarkets can legally open on Easter Sunday due to the local policy of the Queenstown Lakes District Council. Milne refused to confirm whether the two particular New World supermarkets were under investigation. One of the New World supermarkets is on Dunmore St, while the other is on Sir Tim Wallis Drive.
