Two other Chinese tourists were injured in the incident in high surf in front of the Dusit Hotspring Beach and Spa Hotel at 6pm. The two drowned tourist were identified as Wang Qi, 29, and Jiang Yufu, 25. Police said Yang Juan, 27, was missing, and that Jiang Yuping, 28, and Jiang Yumong, 28, were injured and rushed to Vajira Phuket Hospital. Their guide, Anuwat Kangsadalbanphot, 26, told police that the five were among 29 Chinese tourists he took from Krabi International Airport to check-in at the hotel on Friday. The search operation for the missing tourist continued Saturday.
