Southland Police have arrested a twelfth person as part of an attempt to disrupt criminal activity in the South. Previous story:This follows last week's search warrants in which 11 people were arrested in Gore, Queenstown, and Invercargill. Police say they were targeting organised criminal networks and that drugs, firearms, cash and stolen property were also seized. Three more search warrants were executed this morning in Gore and Invercargill, which were attended by the armed offenders squad and specialist search team members. This follows on from the arrests last week and continues our focus on holding accountable local criminal groups and wanted individuals.
