The NRL may have shut the door on Israel Folau but a return to rugby league is not yet completely out of the question. Folau's rugby union career is hanging by a thread after a social media post in which condemned gay people to hell. However, the Super League has emerged as a potential avenue for the disgraced 30-year-old. When approached by UK tabloid The Sun, neither the Rugby Football League nor Super League had yet to rule out the possibility of Folau playing in the competition. It's left the door open for any Super League club to offer him a contract, although the RFL does have the final say on player registrations.
