Some teachers from a private school in Mavoko subcounty have called for a serious audit of the IEBC voter register ahead of the August 8 elections. They said six of their colleagues had been registered twice and another one six times in different polling stations in Central Kenya. Soita said he was listed as a registered voter in Kiambu and Kirinyaga. Deputy principal Evans Kodak said his name is registered twice in different polling stations. “If in this school seven of us are affected, what of other institutions?” he said.
