Mr Ersoy said in a statement: "We are looking forward to welcoming British tourists with open arms, as we did safely last summer. Turkey currently operates a 'Safe Tourism Certification Program' in which approved hotels can provide testing facilities for tourists who need test results when departing Turkey. (Currently, anyone who wishes to enter the UK needs to show proof of a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of travel). Greece and Cyprus have both already announced plans to reopen to Brits from May, while Portugal recently revealed it is also hoping to welcome back tourists for the summer season. Will you book a holiday to Turkey if restrictions lift for the summer?
