Tunisia Still Suffering from Fallout of Terrorist Attacks

Tunisia, the cradle of the Arab Spring, is still suffering from the bloody terror attacks that targeted western tourists in 2015. The North African country, which has 15.6 per cent unemployment rate, is believed to have provided the largest number of foreign militant fighters to the terrorist group ISIS. According to Mohamed Fadhel Abdelkefi, minister of development, investment and international cooperation, the country needs help to counter growing terror threat. He warned that without help Tunisia may slip again into dictatorship and chaos. But the challenge is that the five-year plan needs a $ 60 billion investment, 60 per cent of which Tunis hopes to raise from the private sector.
