Exactly a week ago, the North African nation of Morocco went to polls to elect a new government. And once again, the moderate Islamist Justice and Development Party (PJD) won the most seats (125) in the national elections. It will be recalled that Morocco was one country that had smoothly glided over the 2011 Arab Spring wave. On the foreign policy front, Morocco emerged as an island of stability in North Africa. Given the turmoil in North Africa and West Asia, we need to commend Morocco for its achievements.
