Egyptian students suffer government abductionsFrom AHMED MOOLAH in Cairo, Egypt– ENFORCED disappearances are on the rise in Egypt where two young students have gone missing after abductions by state security agents. Ahmed Abdelrahim Hanafi Abdelrahim, a 21-year-old, disappeared on in September b in Alexandria, while going to work where he is a trainee. The state’s Homeland security, which has quashed dissent by anti-government students, has been blamed for the abductions. Mohamed Gomaa Youssef Afifi, a citizen residing in Ain Shams, was abducted from his home in December 2015 and gone missing since. Enforced disappearances do constitute a systematic practice,” said rights advocate, Rachid Mesli.
